Import and export

Every year ‘Bijenhof’ imports and exports honey of very high quality. To that end, sales representatives of ‘Bijenhof’ travel all over the world in search of specific types of honey, such as: Acacia, Lime-Tree, Lavender, Thyme, Orange blossom, Polyflora, Lemon or one of the many other kinds of honey.

Because of that pursuit of quality at ‘Bijenhof’, these products are first subjected to a rigorous quality inspection to the strictest food safety standards before the processing thereof begins (in conformance with the Antibiotics Ordinance).

After the manufacturing process, the honey products are packed at the state-of-the-art filling line in every conceivable shape and form: ranging from honey in a small, eye-catching glass jar for the consumer right through to honey in bulk packaging for culinary applications in the industrial food chain.

The respective dealers in our dealer network are also supplied with equipment and materials from ‘Bijenhof’ (for more details, see the ‘Private Individuals’ section, further down). Honey and honey products are exported the world over.

‘Bijenhof’ has concentrated, in particular, on private label production.
